Gerald Austin -
NFL, C-USA
Gerald Austin heads a
leadership development group that specializes in strategic planning,
leadership training and team building.
He is a 24 year veteran
referee in the National Football League. He has officiated three Super Bowls and been assigned numerous playoff games. He is the
recipient of the prestigious Art McNally award and is the
coordinator of football officials for Conference USA.
Gerald is a retired
public school administrator with more than thirty years experience
in leadership. He has been an associate superintendent, high school
principal as well as a program associate at an international
leadership training center. He is the author of a number of articles
on leadership. He has spoken to conferences, business meetings,
civic groups and non-profit organizations.
Gerald is a graduate of
Western Carolina University with both a B.A. and M.A. His doctorate
is from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. A native of
Asheville, NC, he has four children and eight grand children.
