Ron began his football officiating career at the high school
level in 1962. During that time he had the opportunity to work several High
school playoffs and numerous state championships.
He began his collegiate career when he entered the Rocky
Mountain Athletic Conference in 1972 and worked as a side judge until 1994.
During that time he was chosen to work Division 11 playoffs. He concluded his
officiating career where he worked ten years in the North Central Conference.
In 1994 Ron became supervisor of football officials in the
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and continues at that position at this time.
Ron also assigns football officials for Division 11 schools in the Colorado, New
Mexico, and Oklahoma schools.
He has been married to his wife Loretta for forty four years
and has two children.
