Granado

Al Granado began his officiating career in 1982 as
a member of the Long Beach Unit, California Football Officials
Association. While there, he officiated six CIF Southern Section
Championships including the 1992 Reebok Bowl and eight junior
College Bowl games and a JC State Final. In 1996, Al was appointed
to the staff of the Arena Football League where he worked play-off
and semi-final games and also the 2002 and 2006 Arena Bowl
Championship. In 1998 Al was invited to become a member of the
Pac-10 Conference, where he has worked the Shrine Game the Liberty
Bowl the BCS Nokia Sugar Bowl and the Allstate Sugar Bowl. In 2001
Al was appointed to the XFL staff where he worked a play-off game as
well as the first and only XFL Championship Game. Al also worked on
the staff for NFL-Europe.
Al currently resides in Huntington Beach with his family and is self
employed.
