Jeff and his wife Helen live in Fresno, CA with their two children, Karin and John. In 1976, Jeff began his officiating career working in 3 states - Idaho, Oregon and California. He officiated junior college and small college football in northern and southern California and was appointed to the Big West Conference in 1989. He joined the staffs of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and later the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in 2000. Post season assignments include the California, Las Vegas, Pigskin Classic, Oahu and Holiday Bowls in addition to Div. II and III playoffs and championships, JC Bowl games and C.I.F. playoffs. He recently has served as lead clinician for the Danish national officiating organization (DAFF). In 2003, Jeff joined the staff of the Pacific-10 Conference, where he currently works as a Head Linesman.
