Beau began officiating in 1957 in Texas High School (TASO) where remains active on the field several times each season when they need help. He started college ball in 1969 in what is now Gulf South Conference. In 1975 he was accepted into the Southwest Conference and stayed until 1991 and had to retire due to age restrictions.

He has worked the Tangerine Bowl, Pioneer Bowl, Sun Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Coco-Cola Bowl Tokyo Japan Aloha Bowl and several D AA/D AAA national championship games. He started scouting for the NFL and Big 12 in 1994 and hope to continue next season. I became the Supervisor of Officials for the NIFL last season and was ask to come back this season.
