Matthews - MWC
Kevin worked his first season as an umpire in the Mountain
West Conference following 3 years in the Western Athletic Conference and 2 years
in the Big West Conference. He began officiating football in 1978 and has worked
JC and Division III since 1986. Kevin worked the 2001 Motor City Bowl, the 2003
Hula Bowl, and has also worked post-season playoff games at the Div III and NAIA
levels. In addition, he has worked two JC State Championship games and 10 JC
Bowl games. Kevin was also hired by the Arena2 Football League in 2002 and was
selected to work a first round playoff game in 2002 and a second round game in
2004.
Kevin lives in Bakersfield, CA with his wife Sara and
daughters Jennifer (21) and Allison (18).
