Mark
Perlman - NFL
Mark played high school football as a tight-end at Tom’s River
High School in New Jersey, where he went on to earn a football scholarship at
Salem College in West Virginia as a wide receiver.
In 1979, Mark moved to Las Vegas where he began officiating football,
basketball, softball and baseball. In 1990, Mark was hired by the Big West
Football Conference (Division I - Jack O’Cain). In this conference, he was
selected to officiate in the Las Vegas Bowl in 1994.
During Mark’s football officiating career, he has worked the Cotton Bowl (1998)
and the Gator Bowl (1999). In 2000, Mark was hired as a Line Judge in the
National Football League, and has worked three consecutive playoff games.
