Russ Pulley - SEC
Russ has just completed his ninth season on the
active roster as an Umpire in the Southeastern Conference. Since
serving on the SEC staff, Russ has been selected to work the 2003
SEC Championship game, the 2007 Orange Bowl (2006 Season), 2007
Holiday Bowl, 2008 SEC Championship Game,2010 Orange Bowl (2009
Season), and 2010 Meneike Car Care Bowl.
Russ previously worked NCAA games as a member of
the 2001 Sun Belt conference staff where he was selected to work the
2001 Liberty Bowl. Prior to that, he worked as an Umpire and a Line
Judge in the Ohio Valley Conference. Prior to that, he worked in a
IAA and NAIA conference in Kentucky where he was assigned a first
round NAIA playoff game. Russ began his football officiating
avocation as a High School Referee where he worked numerous playoff
games including the 1997 State Championship game. He was voted
President of the Sun Belt Officials Association 2001 and earned the
Bill Melton award for excellence in Football Rules and Mechanics in
