I began officiating football in 1980 at the high school level for the Northern California Football Officials Association. In 1986, I began officiating junior college and small college football games. Currently, I am working in the CFO West (MWC/Big12) at the Referee position. In addition, I am Co-Supervisor of Officials for The Community College Football Officials Association. The Organization assigns and trains officials to work at the junior college level in the Central and Northern California areas. I am also the Camp Director for the Reno Football Officials Camp.

I have worked eight Division II Playoff games, including a National Semi-Final game. I also worked a California State Junior College Championship game and a National Junior College Championship game.

At the Division 1 level, I have been assigned to the 2000 Rivals.Com Hula Bowl, 2001 Insight.Com Bowl, 2002 Pigskin Classic, 2003 Seattle Bowl, 2004 Tangerine Bowl, 2005 Continental Tire Bowl, 2006 Sun Bowl, 2007 Liberty Bowl, 2008 Inaugural Eagle Bank Bowl, 2009 Emerald Bowl, and the 2010 Humanitarian Bowl.

I have maintained a private dental practice at the same location in San Bruno, California for the past 32 years and am married to Sylvia.
