Vernatchi - NFL
Rob lives in Sacramento and is married to his
wife Julie. Julie has three children Kristen 22, Justen 21 and Austen 17. Rob
graduated from the University of California Riverside in 1981. He is currently
an Investigator with the State of California, Department of Health Services. He
has been employed with the state for 21 years. Rob started officiating in
1981. He was a member of the Northern California Officials Association.
He college experience includes the Collegiate Officials Association, American
West Conference, WAC, Mountain West and the PAC-10. He also has worked in the
Arena Football League for the past four years. He was appointed to the NFL in
March 2004. His post season assignments include three Division II playoffs and
four bowl games along with working the World Bowl for NFL Europe in 2003.
