Gerald began officiating in 1971, working both high school and
small college until 1984, when he was selected (with 7 other top officials) to
join the PCAA. In 1988 Gerald joined the Western Athletic Conference and then,
most recently, the Mountain West Conference. During the last 5 years he has
worked as a Referee. Gerald has worked several post season games including the
Alamo, Sun, Aloha, Citrus, Gator, Liberty, Hall of Fame, Cotton, Pigskin
Classics, and WAC Championship game. Gerald and his wife, Monica, live in
